International Women’s Day 2026: Megastar Chiranjeevi honors ‘inspirations’ from mother to daughters-in-law

On International Women’s Day, Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi shared a post celebrating the women in his life. The ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ actor shared his gratitude and respect for the women who have inspired him throughout his journey.Writing on his X handle (formerly Twitter) in Teugu he wrote, “నా జీవితంలో తల్లి నుంచి నా జీవిత భాగస్వామి వరకు, నా కుమార్తెలు నుంచి నా కోడళ్ల వరకు, ప్రతి రూపంలో నాకు స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చిన మహిళలందరికీ నా హృదయపూర్వక వందనాలు. ప్రపంచాన్ని ప్రేమతో, ధైర్యంతో ముందుకు నడిపిస్తున్న ప్రతి మహిళకు అంతర్జాతీయ మహిళా దినోత్సవ శుభాకాంక్షలు. (From my mother to my life partner, from my daughters to my daughters-in-law, my heartfelt salutations to all the women who have inspired me in every way. Heartfelt wishes on International Women's Day to every woman who is leading the world forward with love and courage.)”Earlier in 2025, he shared a throwback picture on Instagram featuring his wife, Surekha Konidala, along with several leading actresses who have worked with him in films over the years. The photo included Kushboo, Nadia, Radhika, Suhasini, Meena, Jayasudha and Tabu. All of them were dressed beautifully in sarees. Meanwhile, the veteran actor was recently honored with the prestigious NTR National Film Award. He was presented the award during the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025. Chiranjeevi congratulated all the winners and praised the hard work of the film fraternity. He also wrote, “Many congratulations to all the winners of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025. It is always a joy to celebrate the hard work and passion of our film fraternity.” On the work front, Chiranjeevi is working on the much-awaited film ‘Vishwambhara’. The movie is said to be a big-budget socio-fantasy film which will include high-quality VFX. Additionally, he will also be doing a film with Srikanth Odela which is backed by Nani.
