Rakul as Chandrakala in Loukyam
In this film, Rakul plays the role of Chandrakala who is the sister of local crime lord Babji falls in love with a guy named Venky who helps his best friend to elope Babji’s elder sister to get married. While the film received positive reviews from the audience and critics, Rakul’s performance impressed everyone alike. The movie was widely appreciated for its entertainment quotient. It also did commercially well, grossing over Rs 50 crore at the box office against a budget of Rs 2o crore.

Although the movie didn’t do well at the box office, it was critically acclaimed. Rakul earned a lot of appreciation for her acting in the film.
