Allu Arjun recently launched his new theatre, Allu Cinemas, in Kokapet near Hyderabad. The grand opening took place on Thursday evening, where his family members were present. Videos and photos of the theatre interiors were later shared online. One part of the theatre quickly caught people’s attention. It is called the “Wall of Greats”. This is a long hallway with photos of famous film directors.Some directors shown on the wall include S. S. Rajamouli, Sukumar, Trivikram Srinivas, Mani Ratnam, Vetrimaaran, Atlee, Rishab Shetty, Prashanth Neel, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.There are also photos of foreign directors on the wall.

Fans question missing directors

After the video was released, many people on social media started asking questions. Some felt that a few legendary directors were missing.One user wrote, “Atlee is there but Shankar isn't. Please explain this BS. In Kannada, Upendra isn't there but Neel and Rishabh are there. Moverover in telugu, couldn't spot K Vishwanath but Sandeep vanga is there.”Another person said, “Instead of kids like Atlee, Shetty, Neel, SRV.
Shuld be Vinayak, Puri, Vaitla.”

One person wrote, “The WALL OF GREATS means people worked with Allu Arjun and the people Allu Arjun wanted to work with..”Another person said it would have been better to keep a display screen instead of fixed photos because new directors keep coming into the industry.

About the theatre

The theatre itself is very advanced. The screen is around 75 feet wide. It is said to be India’s biggest Dolby Cinema screen and the second biggest in the world.The theatre also has Dolby Vision 3D projection and Dolby Atmos sound, which gives clear pictures and sound from all directions.
