Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde’s Most Eligible Bachelor gets a release date

Bommarillu Bhaskar’s Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde starrer Most Eligible Bachelor finally has a release date. The filmmakers have announced that it will hit screens for Dussehra on October 15.The film was scheduled for release on October 8 but the filmmakers opted for a festive release instead. Akhil announced the same on social media, writing, “In theatres from 15th October. See you soon everyone.#AlluAravind @hegdepooja @GopiSundarOffl #PradeeshMVarma #BunnyVas #VasuVarma @GA2Official @adityamusic. (sic)”The film will see Akhil play an IT employee while Pooja will play a stand-up comedian. All the promotional material of the film, including songs and the teaser were received well. There were rumours that the film might hit OTT but the filmmakers opted for a theatrical release instead. The film was supposed to hit screens much earlier but release kept getting postponed due to the two waves of coronavirus pandemic.Akhil will also soon be seen in a spy thriller helmed by Surender Reddy titled Agent. The actor underwent a makeover for the role. Pooja Hegde will be seen in Radha Krishna Kumar’s Radhe Shyam and Koratala Siva’s Acharya apart from Trivikram Srinivas’ next with Mahesh Babu.
