Fidaa
Sai Pallavi was cast opposite Varun Tej Konidela in the blockbuster film 'Fidaa', directed by Sekhar Kammula. With the movie doing so well at the box office, the industry woke up to a talented actress in Tollywood. She managed to leave an impression in the audience’s mind with her strong performance and also won the Filmfare award for best debut. Varun Tej and Sai won a million hearts with their crackling chemistry in 'Fidaa'.

Middle Class Abbayi
It was a romantic commercial entertainer directed by Venu Sriram. Sai essayed the role of Chinni, a confident young woman in the film with great elan. The film went on to become a commercial success at the box office. The chemistry between her and Nani was palpable and nobody could deny the ingenuity of their performance. Bhumika Chawla, Aamani, Naresh and Rajeev Kanakala played pivotal roles in the movie.

Love Story
In one of the best Telugu films in recent times, we see a rich girl-poor boy love story where the spotlight is put on the oppressed strata of society, and from their vantage point, it’s painful to watch. This movie directed by Sekhar Kammula turned out to be one of the best films in Sai's career. It was an emotional, family entertainer, where Sai was absolutely brilliant in her scenes as an upper-caste woman fell in love with a lower-caste youth.

Shyam Singha Roy
The Rahul Sankrityan directorial stars Nani, Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty and it follows a Bengal revolutionary writer with communist ideologies who strive for the rights of devadasis and who gets killed by his own brother. He is born again to meet his wife who once was a devadasi. Sai’s acting calibre was fabulously captured in this period of romantic drama. Her body language, subtle expressions and measured acting as Rosie were extremely fascinating.

Virata Parvam
The talented young woman played the role of a village belle who falls in love with a Naxalite and starts following his path of revolution to achieve his love. Directed by Venu Udugula, it was based on the real-life story of a woman named Sarala. Also starring Rana Daggubati, Sai’s performance as Vennela was highly appreciated and won accolades. While the film failed to impress cine-lovers at the box office, Sai Pallavi received a lot of praise for her portrayal.
