4 Telugu films set to release this Friday (November 29)

Benefitting from the absence of any big releases this Friday, four Telugu films including Nikhil Siddharth’s Arjun Suravaram, Ravi Kiran Kola’s rom-com Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, Dhanush’s long-delayed project Thoota and RGV directed-film Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu scheduled to hit the big screens this weekend. Actors Nikhil Siddharth and Lavanya Tripathi starrer Arjun Suravaram is scheduled for a release on November 29. It was supposed to release on May 1, due to avoid a clash with some other big films, it has been postponed. For the unversed, the film was initially titled Mudra, but with an old Jagapathi Babu starrer by the same name hitting screens with the same title and logo, the makers had to change the name. Nikhil essays an investigative journalist who is accused of cheating banks for producing fake documents and degree certificates. Directed by Tamil director T N Santhosh, this is the official remake of the 2016 Tamil hit film Kanithan. Rajkumar Akella is producing the movie under Eros International in association with A movie Dynamix Llp Production.

Ravi Kiran Kola’s rural rom-com Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Rahasya Gorak, is gearing up for this Friday release (November 29). Based on the thin line of fear of rejection, the story of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru revolves around the life of three childhood buddies and how do they overcome the obstacles and express their love. The technical crew of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru includes Vidyasagar Chinta and Amardeep Guttula for cinematography and Viplav Nyshadam for editing. Jay Krish has composed music for this venture. Manovikas D bankrolls it under SL Entertainments banner. The film also features Rajkumar Kasireddy, Yazurved Gurram, Snehamadhuri Sharma and Divya Narni in the cast.

Dhanush’s long-delayed project Thoota (Enai Noki Paayum Thota) finally has a release date. The Gautham Menon directed-film is slated to hit the marquee on November 29. The movie went on to floors in 2016 and had wrapped up its shoot in 2018. It has been postponed due to several issues. Gautham Menon and Dhanush are joining hands for the first time, which has music by GV Prakash Kumar. Megha Akash is paired opposite Dhanush in the movie, which also stars Sasikumar, Senthil Veerasamy, Sunaina and Vela Ramamoorthy. Rana Daggubati has done a cameo in the film, which has been produced by Ishari K Ganesh, Gautham Menon, Venkat Somasundaram and Reshma Ghatala under the banner of Ondraga Entertainment in association with Vels Film International

Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming political action-thriller Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu will release on November 29. The movie is said to be based on recent political developments in Andhra Pradesh. Actor Ajmal Amir of Rangam fame plays Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the movie. This is the second time he played the CM after Jiiva starrer Rangam. Ravi Shankar has composed music for this flick while Suresh Varma handled the camera. Anwar Ali is in charge of editing.
