‘Akhanda 2’ box office collection Day 20: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action thriller inches closer to Rs 100 crore mark
Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda 2' is experiencing a noticeable decline in box office collections as it enters its third week. While the film garnered over Rs 76 crore in its first week, recent daily earnings have dropped significantly, with Wednesday's estimate at Rs 24 lakh. This brings the cumulative total to Rs 92.91 crore, with theatrical occupancy also showing a dip.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2’, that released on December 12th, has been seeing a drop in collections at the box office. The film, which entered its third week at the ticket windows, is now failing to rake in the big bucks. Early estimates suggest the film will make around Rs 24 lakh on Wednesday.According to the trade analyst Sacnilk, the film in its first week collected over Rs 76.75 crore. However, at the end of the second week, collections dropped to an estimated Rs 12.3 crore. During its 15th day at the box office, the film made over Rs 65 lakh and added Rs 70 lakh and Rs 90 lakh on day 16 and 17, respectively. On Monday, the movie made Rs 35 lakh, however, collections took a dip on Tuesday, with the movie earning Rs 30 lakh. As per the latest reports, the film saw a further dip in numbers, earning Rs 24 lakh on Wednesday. This brings the film’s grand total to Rs 92.91 crore.

Theatrical occupancy

Speaking of the film’s theatrical occupancy, on Wednesday, it recorded an overall 15.29% Telugu occupancy. The morning shows recorded 15.11%, which later increased to 17.29% in the afternoon. It then declined to 11.85% in the evening and saw some growth during the night shows, recording 16.92%.
