This movie of Vijay and Simran is set to re-release after 22 years!

It has been more than 22 years since the release of the movie ‘Thulladha Manamum Thullum’ featuring Vijay and Simran in the lead roles.The movie will be re-released in Kerala on December 19, 2021. The movie had a theatre run for more than 100 days in Tamil Nadu and 125 days in Kerala when it was initially released in 1999.It is in this situation that actor Vijay’s fans in Kerala have decided to re-release the film after 22 years again. The movie will be re-released at a theater in Thiruvananthapuram at 7 pm on December 19.Actress Simran in her official twitter account shared that the movie will be re-released. Her tweet read, “After 22 years first time re-releasing evergreen’s favourites of everyone. #ThullathaManamumThullum will be re-released on December 19^th by Kerala Vijay Fans! @Actorvijay.” The movie was a blockbuster hit and it was the directorial debut of Ezhil. The movie was ranked as one of the best romantic movies of Tamil Cinema. It won three awards at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Actor Vijay won the MGR Honorary Award, Simran won the Best Actress Award the movie won the second prize for Best Film. Following its huge success in Tamil, the movie was remade in 5 languages. The movie was a hit in Kerala, and it created a separate market there as the songs of the film were much more popular than the film.
