Salman Khan on Sunday, mourned the loss of his dear friend, Sushil Kumar, in a touching post. Taking to his social media handle, the actor, who rarely posts tributes, took to his handle to share photos and a deeply personal tribute.

Remembering their friendship spanning over four decades, Khan wrote, "This guy has been a brother for 42 years, the nicest, kindest, most helpful even if he was down n out always smiling, dancing and no pain no stress in the worst of situations. Be it financial emotional physical he used to say ki farak nai Painda sab theek hoga."

The actor paid homage to Kumar’s resilience and spirit, adding, “Sushil Kumar is his name or at least was his name till 5 mins ago, farewell bro lived like a man, fought death like a freaking heavyweight champion.”

Choosing to celebrate his friend’s life rather than mourn in grief, Khan continued, “No tears for u brother only memories n laughters.” He further revealed that Kumar passed away peacefully, writing, “My pra died with a smile on his face, Way to go brother.”Reflecting on life and loss, Khan went on to write, "Koi pehle koi baad mein all going to go don’t know when n how toh kuch kar ke jao (Some go earlier, some later but everyone has to go someday. We don’t know when or how, so do something meaningful before you go).”He ended the tribute adding, “now enjoy your cigarettes n whisky cheers bro think I am gonna miss ya a bit.”

Sharing another teary-eyed photo on his handle, he penned another lengthy note that read, "Jisko jaana hai, usse kabhi mat roko. Jis ko uss ko bulana tha woh toh jayega hi.
