'Karuppu' receives U/A certificate ahead of release
The latest update is that 'Karuppu' has officially cleared censorship formalities with a U/A certificate from the censor board. This means children above the age of 13 can watch the film in theatres with parental guidance. Sharing the update online, the makers posted, "#Karuppu" censored with a UA, blasting the screens worldwide from MAY 14TH. "The censor certification has further increased anticipation for the film among fans.
Promotional materials released so far hint that Suriya plays an advocate named Saravanan, who turns towards divine justice when legal methods fail him. The story is also said to revolve around the powerful village deity Karuppasamy, adding a strong emotional and action-packed layer to the film.
A strong supporting cast and technical team add more strength
Apart from Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, the film features a strong supporting cast including Yogi Babu, Indrans, Swasika, Sshivada, Natty Subramaniam, Supreeth Reddy, and Anagha Maya Ravi in important roles. Music for the film has been composed by Sai Abhyankkar, while cinematography is handled by GK Vishnu. The editing work has been done by Kalaivanan, and the stunt sequences are choreographed by Vikram Mor.
