Malayalam actor and veteran production controller Kannan Pattambi passed away at 11.40 pm on Sunday, as confirmed by his elder brother, Major Ravi. The news of his demise was announced on Facebook through an emotional post by Major Ravi, who also shared that the last rites will be held at 4 pm on Monday at their residence in Nhangattiri, Pattambi.




Kannan Pattambi worked in the Malayalam film industry for over three decades as a production controller and was regarded as one of the most trusted names in the field. He also had a brief acting career, appearing in 23 films, mostly in supporting roles.

Rashmika Mandanna & Vijay Deverakonda spotted post-vacation

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were spotted at the airport on Monday as they returned from their New Year vacation. The Dear Comrade co-stars, who have often been at the centre of wedding rumours, arrived at the terminal escorted by security.

Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja is currently in stable condition and under ICU care at a Chennai hospital following his admission for a lung infection. The medical bulletin stated that while his condition remains stable, he continues to require expert monitoring in the critical care unit. Doctors have added that he is responding to treatment, bringing much-needed relief to his fans and colleagues.
