International OTT platform buys digital rights of 18 unreleased Tamil films; Here's the full list

With two big movies in Kollywood released at the start of 2023, the audience are looking forward to a fun filled year with a lot of entertaining movies. Over the past few months, Tamil films have been performing well in theatres as well as digital platforms. Now, it has been reported that the international OTT platform has bought the digital rights of 18 Tamil films that are to be released in theatres this year.The list of the movies:AK 62, Chandramukhi 2, Japan, Jigarthanda Double X, Maamanan, Revolver Rita, Thangalaan, Vaathi, Aryan, Lyca Productions no. 18, 20, 24, Lord, Irukappattu, Thalaikoothal, and History Matters.The digital rights of the film have been bought while the movies are yet to be released, and a few movies that have just completed shooting. The most anticipated movies in Tamil of the year like ‘AK 62’, ‘Japan’, ‘Thangalaan’, ‘Jigarthanda 2’, ‘Maamanan’ and ‘Revolver Rita’ have huge expectations and it is also speculated that the films will perform well on the digital platform as well.
