Director Pa Ranjith confirms a project with Kamal Haasan at the 'Vikram' trailer and audio launch event

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ trailer and audio was launched at 8 PM today, May 15. Many film fraternities including directors, actors and producers attended the audio launch. Apart from the crew of ‘Vikram’, the event was graced by Udayanidhi Stalin, Simbu, and Pa Ranjith. Speaking at the ‘Vikram’ trailer launch, director Pa Ranjith reportedly revealed that he wished to make a rural based film with actor Kamal Haasan as the lead. He added that it will soon happen. Director Ranjinth while speaking also said that ‘Virumaandi’ is his favourite film and that he might even try to portray Kamal Haasan’s role that is suited up for a Madurai based rural film instead of appearing in a Veshti, reportedly. He also stated that he desires to work with actor Simbu. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the film is set to hit the big screens on June 3. With less than 20 days left for movie release, the movie makers are promoting the film massively.
