The sudden demise of Shefali Jariwala, has left her family, fans and friends, including fellow Big Boss 13 contestants in shock. The actress, best remembered for her iconic appearance in the Kaanta Laga music video, passed away at the age of 42. The news of her sudden demise spread like wildfire on social meida in the early hours of Saturday morning.On hearing of her untimely death, Punjabi singer-actor Himanshi Khurana, who shared a great bond with Shefali, took to her Instagram story, to express her grief over her friend’s passing. She shared a throwback selfie with the late actress and wrote, “Bigg Boss that place is cursed I think," along with heartbreak emoji.

Rashami Desai, who competed on Bigg Boss 13 alongside Shefali Jariwala, paid a heartfelt tribute to the actress on her Instagram stories. She posted a photo of Shefali along with the caption, “I am still trying to process the news, you were an incredible person and I am struggling to find the words to express…You will be deeply missed, gone too soon."

Bollywood singer, Mika Singh also expressed his grief and shared a heartfelt note on social media, “I’m deeply shocked, saddened, and feeling a heavy heart… Our beloved star and my dearest friend @shefalijariwala has left us.

Shefali Jariwala reportedly passed away late Friday night. She was reportedly rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others. However, the doctors declared her dead on arrival. The exact cause of her death is still unknown and the official statement from her family or representative is yet to be shared. Her mother was also spotted arriving late last night at the hospital, looking devastated. Although initial reports claimed that the actress died of a heart attack, an official cause of death remains to be determined.
