The temple will again be talked about soon because of the film 'Chaurya' directed by Sameer Asha Patil. It's common knowledge that Shani Shingnapur is a city of no doors. The houses and shops here have no doors and locals believe that Shani Dev protects them, which is why there is no theft in the area. But very recently, a striking news came to light when a theft took place at Shani Shingnapur.

Sameer's 'Chaurya' revolves around the belief of the locals and what happens when a robbery actually takes place.

The film, slated for a August 5 release, comes from the stables of Navlakha Arts and Holy Basil Company's Nilesh Navlakha, Vivek Kajaria, and Cineleela Talkies's Ashwini Patil who have produced this film with Rajan Amle as the co-producer. Prior to this, Holy Basil has produced acclaimed films like 'Shala', 'Siddhanth,' and 'Fandry' along with Navlakha Arts.

'Chaurya' features Kishor Kadam, Ganesh Yadav, Milind Shinde, Pradeep Velankar, Digvijay Rohidas, Dinesh Lata Shetty, Teertha Murbadkar and Shruti Kulkarni.
