Filmmaker, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, actors, Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan and Akhil Viswanath, slayed the red carpet of Venice Film festival in traditional Kerala attires. Actors Joju George and Akhil Viswanath sizzled the red carpet in traditional mundu and shirt.

Director Sanal Kumar Sasidhaaran, actor Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan and Akhil Viswanath are attending the Venice film festival, as their movie received selection at the fest. This year only two films from India were selected - 'Bombay Rose' and 'Chola'.

'Chola' is selected as a part of the ‘Orizzonti’ (Horizons) competition. A category that runs parallel to the main competition. Nimisha Sajayan and Joju George shared a few snaps from their Venice stay. Nimisha Sajayan was lauded for her performance in the film and she has also bagged a state award for the movie.
