Actress Sshivada who is now mother to one-year-old Arundhathi tells us that pregnancy wasn't easy for her. "I am an active person who keeps myself busy with my films, dance and travelling. Though I was prepared for pregnancy, all of a sudden, when I was made to sit at home and when everybody throws their attention to me, at times I used to feel so irritated and frustrated as I realised that I am not able to do what I used to do before. I tried myself to stay happy as everybody had told me that the mother’s mood would affect the child during pregnancy. At times, due to mood fluctuations, I have sat and cried all alone. For me nausea was really high. For other if it was just morning sickness, I used to have it 24*7 and I had lost a lot of weight. Even though, everybody says pregnancy is a beautiful time for a woman, for me it wasn’t easy.,"she says.
Sshivada adds that now when she thinks back, she feels like laughing. "Due to pregnancy, in work front, I lost three films which I really wanted to be part of. Those three were successful films. I got to know that I am carrying, when the films got delayed a bit. I just told them that I am carrying. One had a stunt sequence and another one was an intense character. I wanted to work but they were concerned about my health. I have no regrets. May be something good is waiting for me. I did Lucifer during pregnancy. It had just two days of shoot. I had nothing much to do in it,"she says.
