'Sarvam Maya' box office collections day 1: Nivin Pauly film opens big; collects over Rs 3.35 crore
'Sarvam Maya' has a good opening at the box office. After a long time, a Nivin Pauly film has given fans a happy start.
'Sarvam Maya' had a very good occupancy on its first day. The overall Malayalam occupancy on the opening day was 76.90%.
The morning shows had an occupancy rate of 55.14%. Afternoon shows of Nivin Pauly's film were at 77.18%. Evening shows were almost packed with 89.95% occupancy. Night shows also stayed strong at 85.32%. Overall the occupancy levels for the movie look very impressive abd if this trend continues, 'Sarvam Maya' could be the comeback of Nivin Pauly.
The film has also started receiving positive reviews. ETimes review for the movie reads, “Aptly titled, the film revolves around Prabhendu (Nivin Pauly), an aspiring musician from a family of affluent priests. What happens when an unconventional ghost begins tailing him forms the crux of the narrative. Nivin Pauly—dare it be said—is back in his element. Clearly, what he needed was a director who knew how to use his strengths well. Riya Shibu is phenomenal as the ghost, bringing an unbelievable level of adorability to the character.”
