Santhy Balachandran picks her favourite lockdown reads; ‘Becoming’ is on top!
Santhy Balachandran, who is best known for her performances in ‘Jallikattu’ and ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’ recently took part in Q & A session on her Instagram handle to interact with her fans. During the interaction, the followers asked her to share her ‘favourite lockdown reads’ and the talented diva has shared her best three picks. And ‘Becoming’ by Michelle Obama is on rank one! Santhy Balachandran’s other two lockdown reads include ‘Ghachar Ghochar’ by Vivek Shanbhag and ‘The Hidden Life of Trees’ by Peter Wohlleben. The actress also shared that she had got a lot of time during the lockdown and hence got back her reading habit. “I used to be a voracious reader during school days, but my attention span has unfortunately gone down. One of the nice things about the lockdown was having lots of unscheduled time, and I am happy to have wound up reading a lot more than I have in years. I hope to keep up the momentum,” the actress wrote. Santhy Balachandran entered showbiz with Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Tharangam’. She shot to fame after appearing in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Jallikattu’. She essayed Sophie in the movie. Her recent release was ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’, wherein she played Linda. The movie was a satire comedy and Santhy’s performance was lauded. Indrajith Sukumaran starrer ‘Aha’ and Soubin Shahir starrer ‘Djinn’ are her upcoming projects.
