Mohanlal: Humbled by all that love pouring in for ‘Neru’

Mohanlal starrer ‘Neru’, which hit the big screens on Thursday, December 21 is getting rave reviews from the audience. The Jeethu Joseph’s directorial courtroom drama has won hearts for its emotional connection, and the seats are filling fast in all centers across the country. The film has minted Rs 2.8 crore domestically on its first day, and the worldwide box office numbers stand close to Rs 6 crore, as per Sacnilk.

Mohanlal took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support the film is receiving. In a recent Instagram post, Mohanlal conveyed his gratitude, acknowledging the immense love showered upon 'Neru.'

“Much obliged,” the superstar said, dropping a special poster.

He further added, “Humbled by all that love pouring in for #Neru. Much love and thanks for every kind word and to the wonderful team behind this success!”

Helmed by Jeethu Joseph, ‘Neru’ features Mohanlal in the lead role. Actors Sidhique, Priya Mani, Anaswara Rajan, Santhi Mayadevi, Jagadish, and Ganesh Kumar have roped in to play some pivotal roles in the film. The courtroom drama revolves around Sara, a blind girl, who seeks justice after a terrifying ordeal.
