'Assi' box office collection Day 5: Taapsee Pannu's legal drama crosses Rs 5 crore mark on Tuesday

Taapsee Pannu and Anubhav Sinha's previous collaborations have always talked about hard-hitting subjects. And the same goes with the recent release 'Assi', in which the actress plays the lawyer of a sexual assault victim. The movie received mixed responses from the critics and the audience as well. The same was reflected on its box office collections. Now, let's take a look at how much it earned on Day 5.The Taapsee Pannu starrer has been earning in single digits since its release in theaters. And according to the Sacnilk report, the movie has managed to rake in Rs 0.85 crore at the box office. With that, the total earnings are Rs 5.75 crore net. Meanwhile, Kani Kusruti has essayed the role of the sexual assault victim in it.This is the third collaboration of Taapsee and Anubhav Sinha after movies like 'Mulk' and 'Thappad'.
