'Kalamkaval' OTT release date CONFIRMED; When and where to watch Mammootty’s crime thriller

Mammootty’s crime thriller 'Kalamkaval' had a strong run in theatres after its release on December 5, 2025. The film is directed by Jithin K. Jose and received good feedback from audiences. After almost two months the film is all set for OTT streaming and the date has been officially announced by the makers on the last day.'Kalamkaval' makers have locked the digital release date. Kalamkaval will start streaming from January 16. The OTT platform shared the update along with a glimpse and a note that read, "Experience Mammootty in a crime thriller that digs deeper than the crime itself #Kalamkaval streaming from Jan 16 on Sony LIV." The movie will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.'Kalamkaval' performed very well at the box office. The film collected around Rs 81.9 crore worldwide as reported by the Sacnilk website. Its India net collection stands at Rs 37.07 crore. The India gross is Rs 43.65 crore. Overseas collections touched Rs 38.25 crore. With these numbers the film was declared a superhit.'Kalamkaval' stars Mammootty, Rajisha Vijayan, Vinayakan, Gibin Gopinath, and Gayatri Arun in key roles. Mammootty’s performance stood out the most. I've been hearing some really good things about the film and that there's been lots of viewership across homes. I'm thinking 'finally' and 'long due.' A big thanks and shout out to the Mammookka."Mammootty will be next seen in the action flick 'Patriot' which is directed by Mahesh Narayanan and it also features the actors Mohanlal, Nayantghara, Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban in the lead roles.
