A video shared by a paparazzi account shows Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya’s wife warmly blessing Varun Dhawan and gently patting his head during the ceremony. Lately, the entire film team performed the song 'Ghar Kab Aaoge' in Jaisalmer. The track has been recreated by composer Mithoon with new lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir. Sonu Nigam leads the vocals, joined by Arijit Singh, Roop Kumar Rathod, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh.
Meanwhile, the film is inspired by real-life events from the 1971 India–Pakistan war; 'Border 2' is scheduled to hit theaters on January 23.
