Carmen S Mathew trained for one month
The actor also revealed the intensive training she underwent for a month to play the wrestler. "I have been a dancer and musician since I was a young child. But this kind of intense training is new, and it took my body a week to become used to it because of the discomfort that increased my body's flexibility and mobility," she said.
She further added how sometimes it feels nice to flex those muscles! "I can't adequately describe the tranquility it has brought to my mental well-being; this discipline has become a habit in my life. Sometimes it feels so good to show off your muscles," she added.
Helmed by debutant Advaith Nayar, ‘Chatha Pacha’ is set in Forth Kochi and revolves around a wrestling club.
TOI ranked the film 3 out of 5, and the review reads, “Adhvaith Nayar's Chatha Pacha is a film with its share of ups and downs. There are portions that are highly entertaining, followed by stretches where the narrative seems to jump all over the place. While the decision to limit the personal interactions between the two lead characters is understandable—given the chosen premise and central conflict—those interactions could have been developed more effectively.”Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
