Bhavana’s ‘Anomie’ makers unveil striking video and release date; 'She rises and we rise with her'

One of the most anticipated films in Malayalam cinema, ‘Anomie’, directed by Riyas Marath and starring Bhavana, has officially stepped into the spotlight. The makers recently unveiled a powerful introduction video along with the film’s release date, instantly drawing attention online.

The special video introduces Bhavana as Zara Philip in a serene hill-station-like setting. It opens with the line, “She rises and we rise with her.” The words set the tone for a story rooted in strength, survival, and transformation. The visuals reflect both the character’s grit and Bhavana’s own real-life perseverance.
The video also announces the theatrical release, confirming that Anomie will hit screens on January 30 in multiple languages. As the clip builds momentum, it declares, “Now the call for her 90th, ready to strike,” before Bhavana takes over the frame with quiet intensity. The background score adds to the intrigue, hinting at the film’s dark thriller mood.

Celebrating Bhavana’s 90th film

‘Anomie’ marks a major milestone in Bhavana’s career. The video highlights her 23-year journey in cinema and flashes moments from her past roles, reminding viewers that she has featured in 89 films so far. This upcoming release becomes her 90th outing. The campaign celebrates resilience without spelling it out, allowing the visuals and words to speak for themselves.
Actors Suriya and Jyothika also shared the video, which carries the caption ‘Anomie - The Equation of Death.’
