Adoor Gopalakrishnan turns 75

Renowned Mollywood director Adoor Gopalakrishnan turned 75 today. The filmmaker, who is internationally known for his acclaimed movies such as 'Kodiyettam' and 'Mathilukal', is currently busy with the post production of his film 'Pinneyum'.
The movie, which is first in the last eight years, has Dileep and Kavya Madhavan in the lead. The film was shot under a month in Trivandrum and Kollam and is touted to be a realistic love story.
Adoor in his stellar career of 39 years has also filmed 12 feature films, the latest being 'Pinneyum'.His previous release was 'Oru Pennum Randu Aanum', which had Nedumudi Venu and Manoj K Jayan as part of the cast.
