'Adi' OTT release: When and where to watch the Ahaana Krishna and Shine Tom Chacko starrer

Ahaana Krishna and Shine The Tom Chacko starrer ‘Adi’, which was released theatrically in April, is finally releasing digitally. The film is now streaming on Zee 5. ‘Adi’ is directed by Prasobh Vijayan, who has previously helmed ‘Lilli’ and ‘Anveshanam’. The film is scripted by Ratheesh Ravi of ‘Ishq’ fame.

Ahaana Krishna took to her Instagram handle to announce the release date. “ADI is now streaming on @zee5 for all of you who have been messaging me almost every day asking when and where you can finally find it on OTT. Here you go. Watch and message me, okay?” she penned.

Directed by Prasobh Vijayan, ‘Adi’ received mixed reviews from the audience. Our critic rated the film 2.5 out of 5. “The story, which attempts at feminist credentials, is built up to lead to the climax, a bit like Ratheesh Ravi’s earlier screenplay for Ishq: Not a Love Stroy. But Adi lacks the thrilling pace and layered storytelling of Ishq. Also, while it has an UA rating, it could get quite embarrassing to watch it with children; we need to get a bit more stringent on this front,” our critic wrote.

On the technical side, the cinematography for the film is done by Faiz Siddik, and Noufal Abdullah has done the editing. The music is composed by Govind Vasantha.
