A theatrical tribute to DR Bendre

Gangavatarana is a theatrical tribute to the life and works of acclaimed poet DR Bendre. The play is a reflection of today’s materialistic world and the man’s struggle to be free from all. BV Karanth’s thoughtful direction and some spectacular stage moments make this a play a must-watch. The play is about a poet who goes in search of the works and life of Bendre.The play is written and directed by Rajendra Karanth, while the artistes are Rajendra Karanth, Rakesh Rajkumar, Sunil Kumar V, Supreetha Shetty and Pramod K Shetty. The play is scheduled to take place at Ranga Shankara on August 7, at 7.30 pm.
