'Mark' OTT release date: When and where to watch Kichcha Sudeep's action thriller

The Kannada action thriller, 'Mark,' featuring Kichcha Sudeep, has started making waves primarily due to its OTT release date. The film, which was released in theatres on December 25 on Christmas, has succeeded in creating some buzz at the box office, while OTT talks have also begun. However, as per reports, 'Mark' will be available on an OTT platform by January-end 2026, tentatively during Republic Day weekend.

'Mark' OTT partner revealed

As per a report by OTTPlay, the digital and satellite rights of 'Mark' have already been finalised. This immediately sparked curiosity about which streaming platform had acquired the film. Given that the last two films of Kichcha Sudeep were released on Zee5 and Amazon Prime Video, one would expect either of these platforms to have acquired ‘Mark’. The chatter on social media, however, may be surprisingly different. It has been stated that Zee5 and Amazon Prime have not acquired the movie, and JioHotstar now leads in purchasing the OTT rights.

Second Kannada film to feature on the digital platform

Although the producers and streaming services are yet to officially announce, if that happens, 'Mark' will be the second Kannada film to have an OTT launch. The first was the comedy hit 'Su From So', which received a positive response after its digital release. This news has added to the expectation of the audience, especially those who couldn't catch it in theatres, who are now counting the days for it to make its OTT debut.

Kichcha Sudeep is a suspended Superintendent of Police Ajay Markandayya in the film 'Mark,' and the intense film is directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa. The story unfolds as a dark investigation into missing children and why the lead is suspended from duty. The music is done by Ajaneesh Loknath and features a stellar cast including Guru Somasundaram, Naveen Chandra, Vikranth, Yogi Babu, and many more.
