In his X (formerly Twitter) post, the actor wrote, “Years later, the warmth around Kirik Party still hasn’t faded. What truly keeps it alive is the audience’s love for the film. Grateful for that affection, always (hug emojis) Celebrating 9 beautiful years of Kirik Party (heart emoji).”

About ‘Kirik Shetty’

Directed by Rishab Shetty, ‘Kirik Party’ is a 2016 Kannada comedy-drama hit that is celebrated for its youthful energy. The movie also launched National Crush Rashmika Mandanna and actor Samyuktha Hegde’s careers in the industry.

The story of the film is about Karna, played by Rakshit Shetty who is seen as a carefree college student. The film includes the theme of college life, where the cast explores love and friendship. The movie starred Rashmika Mandanna as Saanvi, who is seen as his senior and junior Aarya played by Samyuktha Hegde. The film also featured Achyuth Kumar, Dhananjay Ranjan and Chandan Achar in key roles.



The film also gained love for its songs, the music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The film collected an estimated Rs 40-50 crore at the box office.
