Kannada star Sudeep’s daughter reacts to online trolling and body shaming; while Sudeep addressed the issue at a public gathering

Singer Sanvi Sudeep, daughter of actor Sudeep, recently became the latest target of such negativity. During the gratitude press meet for his film Mark, Sudeep chose to address the online trolling directed at his daughter, with a positive twist. “I prefer talking about people who encourage us. Why should I give attention to some random person who mspeaks negatively about me or my daughter? She is my daughter; I know who she is. My daughter has a bigger heart than me and an even stronger urge to work. She will grow to heights far greater than me,” he said, expressing his pride in her.

On Sunday morning, Sanvi too addressed the trolling through an Instagram post, writing, “My body isn’t a
topic of discussion. If I wanted your opinion, I’d ask.” This is not the first time Sanvi has spoken out against online body shaming. She has previously addressed similar experiences in earlier interviews, highlighting the continued
scrutiny faced by star kids on social media.
