BTS member Jungkook's single 'Seven (feat. Latto)', released in July 2023, has crossed 2.5 billion - or 250 crore - streams on Spotify as of 18 August 2025.
Big Hit Music shared the big update with fans via the public counter and tracking site Kworb.net, which logged 2,503,862,002 plays on 20 August. The feat makes 'Seven' the fastest K-pop solo track to reach every 100 crore mark up to 250 crore, achieved in just over two years.
Chart success and accolades
'Seven' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Global 200 and Global (Excl. US), and has stayed on the global charts for more than 100 weeks. It won major trophies at the 2023 MTV VMAs, MTV EMAs, Billboard Music Awards and the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, reflecting sustained listener demand.
Significance for K-pop
Jungkook's solo catalogue now exceeds 940 crore Spotify streams, while his album 'Golden' is approaching 600 crore. Industry analysts say this benchmark widens opportunities for Korean acts on global platforms and encourages cross-genre collaborations.
On the work front, the artist is currently in the US with his fellow bandmates, prepping to work on their next studio album and big comeback in 2026. While official schedules remain under wraps, many fans are speculating about upcoming group appearances or new projects that could follow.
