The 44-year-old actress recently got candid about her life and growing old in an interview with GQ Korea. In a video titled 'How Jun Ji Hyun Defines Her Own Value,' the actress stated that 'How will actress Jun Ji Hyun look as I get older?' I think about this endlessly. At home too, I wonder, 'How will our children grow up, and what will they do?' But ultimately, I focus more on the thought, 'Let’s do well what we can today'”.
She also talked about how growing older has helped her understand herself more and that she feels more like herself day by day.

The actress will next be seen in the upcoming thriller ‘Tempest.’ Talking about her project and character, the actress shared that she has been feeling a mix of emotions regarding the project. On one hand, she feels excited about the release, but on the other hand, she sometimes feels indifferent to it, which often makes her wonder whether feeling like this is okay or not. She also added that filming for the drama was a rare feat for her, as it is rare for actors to feel a deep connection to the story and script every time. She shared that, “When you’re deeply focused and fully immersed in the character, there are times when you feel connected to the writer or the director on set. When I played the role of Moon Joo in 'Tempest,' I felt that connection with the writer.”
