Riingo on a song...
Riingo Risks his vocal chords to lend his voice to the youth anthem — Chalo India.
That was one ofthe reasons why Riingo wanted to shoot a video for his film that would involveevery member of the cast and crew of Risk. After shooting my film, I waswondering how to position it. Would it be right to call it a thriller or apatriotic film? The most important part was that I wanted people to relate tothe film. And the only way to get that across was to project Risk asa film on brotherhood. I wanted a song that expressed the camaraderie in theunit, said Riingo, who is now off to Rajasthan to shoot a music video forthe Times Music album titled Tu Hi Bataa. Thats how ChaloIndia was born. The idea was to have a rock anthem that would inspire theyouth. Composed by Bickram (Ghosh), the song has been sung by Rupam Islam. Allthe stars of my film, which includes not just the cast but even the producer, have lent their voice to this anthem. I too have lent my voice. While GautamSushmit have composed the lyrics, guitarist Kutti was flown down from Mumbai torecord it. I plan to keep this promotional video in my film and use it for theend credits, Riingo signed off.
