After 'Sikandar', Salman Khan is all set for his major comeback with 'Maatrubhumi' and the expectations are quite high for the war drama. 'Chand Dekh Lena' from 'Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace' has been officially released and it features Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh. The soothing track arrived on the occasion of Eid and the song had already created anticipation among the audiences.

Song blends traditions of love and faith

'Chand Dekh Lena' stands out for its thematic connection to both Eid and Karwa Chauth where the moon plays a central role and symbolises celebration, togetherness, love, and longing across traditions. The song was unveiled by Salman Khan with the caption that reads, "Aaj aasman mein Chand dekhne ko nahi mila, koi baat nahi.. Maatrubhumi ka #ChandDekhLena.. May War Rest in Peace."

Emotional story of separation and reunion

Chitrangada Singh portrays a woman waiting patiently for her husband, played by Salman Khan, who is away serving at the border.

The track has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and it has a classic Bollywood feel. The song is crooned by Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee.
