Rishi Kapoor on Radhe Baby and #Meatban

The ace 63 year old actor took to twitter and urged "Jaago India Jaago" again, this time over the meat ban and, as a bonus, Radhe Maa. He tweeted "Jaago India Jaago. Stop all this in the name of religion. All taking the nation for a ride. Kabhi Radhe baby Kabhi meat ban! Kya ho raha hai?"[sic]. The actor is the latest to join the celebrity bandwagon criticising the meat ban in Mumbai for the 4 day long Jain festival.

Sonakshi Sinha tweets up a storm against #Meatban

The actress has a way with words that no one can beat that, she would give it back to you nice if you ever dare to mess with her. But it’s not just haters she has snarky comebacks for, the girl sure knows how to voice her opinions in a way that they can never go unnoticed, like she did with the recent meat ban. So after, porn ban and beef ban, the government has now decided to observe a ban on meat for four days to celebrate the Jain festival. Obviously, Sonakshi wasn’t just going to take it without giving it back. Instead of going the Sonam Kapoor way (the actress called the government out on the ban), the actress decided to call out to the government with her string tweets. In a series of tweets, she retorted saying,"this is a free country! Welcome to BAN-istan... I meant India.. Stupid autocorrect... Why no ban on ignorance/negligence? What about the flood affected people of assam? Priorities people. Priorities."[sic]

Yet another ban - The #Meatban

The economic capital of this country woke up to a huge mayhem as sale of meat was banned in Mumbai during the four-day long Jain Festival. The decision by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday put a complete ban on the slaughter of animals during the Jain fasting festival from September 10- 17. Not only the Mumbaikars, the tweetizens flooded Twitter with anti-meat ban tweets giving the issue a religious angle.

Known for her outspoken attitude, Sonam Kapoor also stood against the meat ban and tweeted against it.
