'You shine brighter...': Esha Deol's ex-husband Bharat Takhtani wishes 'Mamma' Hema Malini on her birthday

Despite getting separated, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani continue to share a cordial relationship with each other. On Hema Malini's birthday recently, Bharat even took to his Instagram handle to share a sweet post for her.

Sharing a stunning picture of the veteran actress, he wrote, Wishing you a very happy birthday mamma. May all your wishes come true and you shine brighter and celebrate everyday as today'.



Earlier, Esha took had taken to her social media handle to wish her mother on her special day. She wrote, “Happy birthday to my Queen my mamma & The Dream Girl of the nation …. We love you."

Hema Malini on Bharat Takhtani

Earlier in 2012, Hema Malini had spoken about Bharat. "We are very happy that my daughter is getting engaged. He (Bharat) is a lovely boy and we all like him. It is a very happy moment not only for her (Esha) but for the entire family," she shared.

Esha and Bharat’s separation

The duo announced got separated in 2024. Their joint statement read, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected," their statement read.

Esha on co-parenting after separation

Talking about co-parenting their kids, Radhya and Miraya, Esha had told YouTube channel Mamaraazzi in an interview, "“It’s just that in life, sometimes, due to certain things, roles change. And if it doesn’t work out in a certain equation of what two people were at one point, you must take it upon you, especially when you have children, the two mature individuals must take it upon them to work out in another dynamic but keep the unit together for the sake of the children. And that’s exactly what Bharat and I do."



Meanwhile, Bharat seems to have found love again. He recently shared a romantic photo on Instagram with a woman named Meghna Lakhani. In the picture, Bharat is seen holding Meghna close as they gaze into each other’s eyes. He captioned the post, 'Welcome to the family, it’s official.'
