Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkumar Hirani are all smiles post the screening of Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dunki' - WATCH

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' released in cinemas on Thursday, December 21 and opened to a mixed critical response. However, it had a decent opening for a non-holiday release. 'Dunki' opened to around Rs 30 crore in all languages. Meanwhile, there have been cast and crew screenings of the film happening on Wednesday and Thursday in Mumbai which was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and many other celebs from the industry.

A video has now gone viral on the internet where director Rajkumar Hirani is hugging writer Abhijaat Joshi while, Vicky and Taapsee are all smiles. This moment after the film's screening is indeed heartwarming.


Meanwhile, Kanika Dhillon who is the co-writter of 'Dunki' was seen posing with Vicky and Taapsee and this looked like a 'Manmarziyaan' re-union of sort. Kanika had also written 'Manmarziyaan' which starred Taapsee, Vicky, Abhishek Bachchan in an Anurag Kashyap directorial. Sunny Kaushal was also seen posing with them.


Vicky was seen posing with his father and other members from the cast and crew. While the 'Sam Bahadur' actor just has a cameo in 'Dunki', those who've seen the film have said that he's the best part of 'Dunki'.

While 'Dunki' enjoyed all the screens on Thursday, it shall face competition from 'Salaar' from today onwards as it releases. This Prashanth Neel directorial, stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles. It also stars Shruti Haasan.
