Tribute to Feroz Khan

Soon after celebrating the late Feroz Khan’s74th birth anniversary last Saturday, his brother Akbar Khan and members of hisfamily wish to pay him a special tribute.He is busy meetingministers and requesting them to name a street in Juhu after hisbrother.When contacted, Akbar Khan said, “We are in a sweetsorrow kind of a mood right now as my brother’s 74th birth anniversary wascelebrated on Saturday.I wanted to pay him a tribute. I met theDeputy Chief Minister Chagan Bhujbal recently and I told him how my family and Iwant to have a street in the name of my brother in Juhu.I requestedfor Juhu as my brother came down to Mumbai at the young age of 18 and stayedhere till the last two days of his life. Mr. Bhujbal loved theidea.Then I also met the aviation minister Praful Patel and RajeevShukla and they too were extremely supportive about this.They agreedthat we must do something for the man and his contribution to the film industry.So the process is now on.”Reminiscing days spent with thelegendary actor, Akbar Khan said, “I live diagonally parallel to hishouse.
