Then and now pictures of actor ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ fame Arjun Kapoor

Actor Arjun Kapoor who is making it to the big screens today with ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ has a transformation journey that is remarkable and inspiring. Through a sequence of “then and now” pictures, we have tried to capture his journey, from a young boy who worked behind the camera but had a dream, a vision, and a passion to a determined man who became a star and achieved his mission. His journey showcases determination. He proved that transformation on both the physical and professional front is possible with dedication and hard work.

Baby steps to fame

Arjun Kapoor was born into a filmmaker’s family. But despite his legacy, who would have thought that this star kid would have to make his place in Bollywood all by himself? Those dove eyes always knew they were meant to see big dreams and that smile; that smile was meant to charm everyone. It is Arjun’s journey from being the cutest kid on the block to being the handsome hunk of the town.

From chubby cheeks to a chiseled frame

Before stepping into Bollywood, Arjun suffered from obesity. But his keen dedication and passion for films led him to lose weight. Under the guidance of Salman Khan and with the intense workout he lost 50 kgs in four years and made his Bollywood debut with ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012). He attainted the perfect frame; from the chiseled abs to the sharp jawline.

From daddy’s little boy to Bollywood heartthrob

This picture shows young Arjun with his sister Anshula Kapoor, embraced by their father, Boney Kapoor. Fast forward to today, Arjun Kapoor stands tall and confident, overcoming the challenges that came his way. This image reflects the tireless work he has put in to become who he is.

The shades of Arjun Kapoor

Arjun from the start of his career wanted to play versatile roles. In some movies, he was the ‘quintessential hero,’ in some his gray shades shone better. Like in the picture above, on the one hand, is the cute, lover boy from ‘2 States’ and on the other hand is the ultimate villain from ‘Singham Returns.’ The latter was released recently, and for the first time showed Arjun Kapoor in a full-fledged antagonist role. It was a surprise for the audience to see Arjun playing the big bad, and it was a good surprise indeed.

6/6

Hard work and high hopes

From working behind the camera to becoming a beloved star, Arjun’s journey is admiring. He had hopes and a spark in his eyes. He worked hard. His first job was as assistant director. Then he worked as an assistant producer, and all that was homework, a ladder to ultimately become an actor. His commitment, dedication, passion, and love for films made him what he is now. He is a true example of resilience, self-improvement, and adaptability.
