Sushmita Sen reveals if she was going to marry Lalit Modi, talks about her Instagram post on being called a 'gold-digger'

Sushmita Sen has continued to inspire generations of women ever since she became Miss Universe in 1994. Apart from her work, Sushmita was in news due to her viral photos with Lalit Modi from their holiday and his confession of love for her. Sushmita maintained a dignified silence on this, however, the actresss dropped a post slamming trolls who were calling her a gold digger.

In a recent interview, Sushmita opened up on it. She was asked if she was going to marry Lalit Modi. In response to that, Sen told Mid-day, that if she was going to marry someone, she would be married to them. She doesn't try. Either she does it or she doesn't.
Sushmita also opened up on her Instagram post. The actress had given a befitting reply to those calling her a gold-digger. She had said, "Perfectly centred in my being & my conscience…I love how nature merges all it’s creation to experience oneness…and just how divided we are, when we break that balance. ���� It’s heartbreaking to see just how miserable & unhappy the world around us is becoming….The so called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies….the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip �� The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met….all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & character…monetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!! ���� Ah these geniuses!!! I dig deeper than Gold…and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!!����❤️And yes I still buy them myself!!!


Opening up on why Sushmita wrote this post, she said that silence is mistaken for weakness or fear. she just wanted to put out one post to let people know that she's laughing. After that she was just done with it.

On work front, Sushmita was last seen in 'Taali' and 'Aarya 3' and both got immense love from the audience.She is rumoured to be back with the ex- boyfriend Rohman Shawl, with whom she had broken up about three years ago.The duo have been spotted together recently especially at Diwali parties few weeks ago.
