For
Soha Ali Khan, acting isn’t just a profession; it’s a shared family passion and a constant journey of discovery. Recently, Soha opened up about how her close-knit family, including her mother
Sharmila Tagore, husband
Kunal Kemmu, and brother Saif Ali Khan, often become her sounding board when it comes to work.
Soha reveals how Kunal Kemmu, Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore helped her prepare for her darkest role“Yes, we do discuss work, when a role challenges us,” Soha told Mumbai Mirror. “When I was filming Chhori 2, playing an antagonist for the first time, I talked to my mother, Kunal and Bhai about everything, from the character’s cult background, to dialect, body language and preparation. We all approach acting differently. I like to be fully prepared, learning my lines in advance so I can focus on performance. Kunal, on the other hand, prefers a more instinctive approach, reading his lines just before the scene. Bhai has done intense prep for roles like Langda Tyagi. But at the core, we all love what we do. Acting lets us step into different lives, explore emotions, and build empathy. It’s cathartic, and we feel fortunate to be in this profession, growing with every role.”
