After a wait for over three decades, Bollywood superstar
Shah Rukh Khan, on Tuesday, finally received his first National Award.
The actor was presented with the National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, by President Droupadi Murmu at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi and wife, Gauri Khan could not be any more proud. In a heartfelt post on her Instagram handle, Gauri shared a photo of her hubby looking dashing in his black suit with the Indian flag pinned on his chest.

Sharing a photo, Gauri wrote, “What a journey it’s been @iamsrk. Congratulations on winning the National Award!!! So deserving… it’s a result of your years of hardwork and dedication."
The star interior designer went on to quip, "Now I’m designing a special mantle for this award.”

The actor was in the country just last Thursday, to be by son Aryan Khan's side as he made his directorial debut with 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood'. After the grand red carpet premiere of the web series, the actor flew back to Poland to resume the shoot for the action film that will see him sharing screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film also marks his 6th reunion with
Deepika Padukone and first on-screen venture with Abhishek Bachchan.
