71st National Film Awards Live Updates: Malayalam superstar Mohanlal receives the highest honor - Dadasaheb Phalke Award

The National Film Awards celebrate creators across the Indian film industry, and the 71st National Film Awards ceremony is happening today (23 September 2025) at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. 'Bhagavanth Kesari' featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna bagged the Best Film award in the Best Regional Film (Telugu) category. Representing Tamil cinema, the film 'Parking' was selected as the Best Tamil Film. M.S. Bhaskar, who acted in this film, won the Best Supporting Actor award. Similarly, G.V. Prakash Kumar, who composed music for the film 'Vaathi', received the Best Music Composer award.
