Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan were buzzed to collaborate on a film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Suhana made her debut in Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies' last year and is gaining attention for her performance. However, the anticipated project with Sujoy Ghosh has reportedly been postponed, reports The Times Now.

The report conveyed that they doubted the occurrence of the mentioned project, expressing scepticism, particularly in the aftermath of 'The Archies.' They suggested that Suhana should seek a project that is distinctly different from her father's. The report also mentioned the shift in SRK's initial eagerness to appear on camera with his daughter, indicating that this desire has taken a backseat following the experience with 'The Archies.'

The report about SRK and Suhana’s collaboration was first reported in June last year. A source told Pinkvilla that the father-daughter duo will be starring in the film and that it will mark her big-screen debut. It was also claimed that Siddharth Anand was on board as a co-producer.

In November, it was reported that Sujoy Ghosh was brought on board as the director. “The film has been titled King and will be a one-of-a-kind action thriller with strong dynamics shared by Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. One would have expected SRK and Suhana to team up on a relatively soft film against the backdrop of a father and daughter, but they are ready to break the norm by collaborating for the first time on an action thriller,” a source told the entertainment news portal.

Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan have not yet responded to the recent reports about the postponed film. Shah Rukh, who was last seen in 'Dunki', has not announced his next project as of now.
