Ranbir Kapoor vs Ranbir Kapoor in the sequel of Animal

Ranbir Kapoor has set the box office on fire with his latest film Animal. The film had clocked an advance sales of Rs 33.97 crore before the first show began. It is the second highest advance booking for the film, first being Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. Animal is also all set to be Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest box office opening of around Rs 45-50 crore beating Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva which had collected Rs 36 crore.

While the film is expected to go on a rampage over the weekend, the makers have already set the wheels in motion for the second part of the film. Yes, hints were being dropped since Thursday itself that the film will have an open ending to make way for a sequel. And for the next time around, the makers have decided that Ranbir Kapoor will be playing Ranbir Kapoor’s nemesis.

In the post credit scene, it is revealed that Bobby Deol’s character has been successful in creating a clone of Ranbir’s character, setting the stage for one Ranbir taking on another. This move will set the stakes even higher as Ranbir has been getting a lot of appreciation for this action in the film and with the kind of ticket sales the film has got, it is definite that for the sequel a huge audience will be ready. The makers have tentatively titled the second part as Animal Park, and pictures of second Ranbir have already begun doing the rounds of the internet.
