Kiran Rao’s directorial 'Laapataa Ladies' was screened at the Supreme Court of India for judges on Friday, August 9. Pratibha Ranta, who played a crucial role in the film, has expressed that its screening at the Supreme Court’s auditorium felt ‘bigger than receiving an award’.In an interview with Pinkvilla, ‘Laapataa Ladies’ Pratibha shared that she is so ‘elated’ by this and she is finding it hard to put the feeling into words. She also added that she is overwhelmed and nervous at the same time to learn that such renowned dignitaries and big decision-makers are watching her film. She also added that , for any actor, this kind of appreciation means a great deal.‘Laapataa Ladies’ has Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam, Satendra Soni, and Durgesh Kumar in key roles.While talking to reporters ahead of the screening, Kiran Rao said, "It fills my heart with immense pride to see 'Laapataa Ladies' making history by being screened at the Supreme Court of India. I am deeply grateful to the honourable Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud for this rare honour."
