Singer Prakriti Kakar is officially married. The singer tied the knot with entrepreneur Vijay Anand in an intimate yet regal ceremony held at Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. The couple, on Wednesday, hosted a lavish reception that saw several celebrities in attendance.

Prakriti Kakar’s bridal look turns heads

For her big day, Prakriti looked radiant in an all-red ethnic ensemble that exuded classic bridal elegance. She completed her look with emerald statement jewellery, including a necklace and matching earrings, keeping her makeup minimal and hair neatly styled in a bun.

Vijay Anand complemented her look in an ivory sherwani paired with matching accessories.

Sisters steal the spotlight with their looks

Prakriti was seen posing with her sisters, making for some heartwarming moments. Sukriti Kakar looked stunning in an embellished lilac lehenga, paired with a halter-neck blouse and a flowing white dupatta.

Elnaaz Norouzi turned heads at the reception in a striking purple lehenga with intricate detailing, adding a regal touch to the celebrations.

Playback singer Anusha Mani attended the event with her husband Sangeet Haldipur and dazzled in a golden ensemble.

Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap also attended the reception with her husband Shane Gregoire. The couple had tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Mumbai on December 11, 2024, followed by a Christian wedding in New York on July 7, 2025.

Wedding announcement and love story

Prakriti announced her wedding by sharing a series of pictures on Instagram. “Just Married. 23.01.2026,” she wrote in the caption.

The couple dated for three years before getting engaged in April 2025. Announcing their engagement, they had shared a post that read, “All love stories are beautiful, but ours is my favourite. Hi fiancée.”
