Orry breaks silence on fallout with Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, says only Amrita Singh’s apology can fix it
Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has been dominating showbiz conversations lately for his unfiltered social media posts and open digs at former friends Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. The influencer has made little effort to hide the growing tension, and now, in a recent interaction, he has addressed the feud head-on.
Orry says he is willing to let bygones be bygones — but only if Sara and Ibrahim’s mother, Amrita Singh, apologises to him.
“I unfollowed Sara a while ago.. and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years,” he told Hindustan Times.
Opening up about why he chose to distance himself, Orry added, “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through and I just don't think I can do that anymore.”
When asked to elaborate on the trauma he was referring to, Orry chose not to comment further.
“I don’t really think I said anything wrong about her.. I just made a small joke taking a dig at her career .. I highly doubt she even felt bad about it,” he said.
Explaining his point further, Orry added, “The whole internet makes fun of Sara’s movies all the time.. her biggest body of work is a series of memes that she’s delivered via movies.. people make fun of me being jobless all the time.. it’s not that deep.”
“If Amrita Singh were to apologize I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future,” he said.
Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan are yet to react to Orry's statements.
The tension reportedly escalated around Sara’s birthday in August last year, when Orry allegedly posted unflattering pictures of the actor as a birthday wish — something that did not go down well with her.
According to industry grapevine, Ibrahim Ali Khan, who was once close to Orry, also fell out with him around the same time.
In another video, Orry wore a micro-bikini printed on a T-shirt. A comment exchange under the post suggested a dig at Sara Ali Khan’s career trajectory, further fuelling speculation about their fallout.
The lyrics she chose spoke about living freely, avoiding calculations, and steering clear of unnecessary controversies.
