My mother is my whole world, says Anupama Prakash

Anupama Prakash recently shared an emotional tribute to her mother while reflecting on the true meaning of Mother’s Day and the silent sacrifices mothers make every day.

Known for projects like Risknamaa, Prabha Ki Diary, and Inside Stories: Handcuffed, the actor said her understanding of her mother’s love deepened with age and experience.

“My mother is my whole world. Growing up, I didn’t fully understand the depth of her sacrifices, but as I became older and more aware, I realized how much she has done for me without ever expecting anything in return,” she said.

Speaking about the silent strength mothers carry, Anupama added, “Mothers carry so many responsibilities quietly, often without recognition, yet they continue to give unconditional love and strength. Looking back, I feel I should have told her more often how much I love her and how deeply I appreciate everything she has done.”

The actress further expressed, “If I could, I would give her all the happiness and love in the world, because she truly deserves it.”

Sharing what Mother’s Day means to her, Anupama said, “For me, Mother’s Day is more than just a celebration—it’s a reminder that an entire universe exists within one person, our mother. There is nothing greater, more selfless, or more powerful than a mother’s love.”

Apart from acting, Anupama also runs her production banner Kaccha Lemmon Productions and has produced projects like Gajanan Aao Phir Ek Baar and Band Baja Aafat.
